Job Title : Project Engineer

W e are a leading furniture manufacturer specializing in innovative designs and exceptional craftsmanship. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality furniture solutions to our clients and are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team.

Position Summary : The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing furniture manufacturing projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in SolidWorks and strong site supervision skills. The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all project specifications are met with precision and that site operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with various departments, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for furniture designs.
• Review and interpret technical specifications and ensure designs meet customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Work closely with the design team to develop innovative and practical furniture solutions.
• Act as the primary on-site supervisor during project installations and visits.
• Ensure that all site activities adhere to the project plan, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams, addressing any issues that arise during installation or production.
• Conduct regular inspections of products and installations to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
• Identify and resolve any quality or design issues promptly to avoid project delays.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on technical and project-related matters.
• Attend site meetings with clients to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design changes, site reports, and project progress updates.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and product quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in furniture design and manufacturing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Must have UAE Driving License
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating and interpreting 3D models and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent site supervision skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to furniture manufacturing and site operations.

Additional Requirements :

• Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
