Job Summary

The Project Engineer - Rotating is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, motors) within engineering projects. This role involves managing the technical aspects of rotating machinery, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes. The Project Engineer will collaborate with various disciplines to ensure the efficient and timely execution of the project.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment for projects.

Perform technical analysis and sizing of rotating machinery (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines).

Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment selection for rotating equipment.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) during all project phases.

Lead the coordination of rotating equipment integration with other systems (e.g., piping, electrical, instrumentation).

Supervise and support installation and commissioning activities on-site, resolving technical issues as needed.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Provide technical support and guidance to contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for rotating machinery-related challenges.

Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Aramco project Experience is Mandatory (Minimum 1.5 ~ 2Years Project Experience)

10+ years of experience in rotating equipment design, installation, and project management.

Proficiency in rotating machinery analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ANSYS, SolidWorks).

In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment standards (e.g., API 610, API 617, ASME).

Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical challenges.

Familiarity with commissioning and troubleshooting of rotating equipment on-site.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
