Interested in being part of our team?Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.The RoleJob descriptionReporting to the Team Leader Projects - Oil Free Air Division, as a project engineer your mission will be to execute contracts for engineered compressed air packages & turnkey systems in the Middle East region covering the territory of UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq & Yemen.Ensure our leadership position in the industry is maintained by developing good relationship and customer experience when handling projects.The main responsibilities of the required position are: -
Manage order execution, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery and technical requirements.
Coordinate with all concerned including the product companies, colleagues within the organization.
Prepare and supply documentation as required by the contract terms.
Be responsible for the project engineering support of various projects from conceptual and detailed design stage through engineering, production, performance testing and dispatch to customer.
Work on completing design and engineering of turnkey project installations.
Be responsible for proper review and processing of variations and claims received from customer and product company (PC).
Provide input of cost estimates if requested during bidding of projects.
Manage budget, procurement, and schedules for various projects.
Manage a given project within the costs allocated without escalation & create avenues to save costs wherever possible & improve profitability of the assigned project.
Coordinate and participate in KOM, formal design and engineering reviews, HAZOP, closure of technical and commercial queries by customer and by PC.
Keep management posted on the project progress and systems updated of the job status.
Manage and supervise site works and assure to apply Atlas Copco Safety standards and project management guide lines on the site work and outsourced contractors .
Manage local procurement and negotiations with local vendors and contractors.
Follow and maintain Atlas Copco Code of Conduct on all commercial dealings with vendors and contractors .
Maintain track of project stage payments, invoicing & payment receipt.
Monitor overall progress of given projects against schedule and milestones reporting to management, providing early warning of potential slippage, in case of the latter; Propose remedial actions so that the contract completion data for the work is not jeopardized and ensure the client imposes no liquidated damages.
Developing & qualifying vendors to improve quality, performance and costs.

Technical knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment & ancillaries including planning and execution skills will be an added plus.Preferably possesses 2-3 years\' experience in project management/sites management .Educational requirementsMechanical or Electrical Engineering degree / diploma in engineering with design, documentation and AutoCad / MS projects skills is a prerequisite.Excellent command of English language, written and spoken.
