We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Project Engineer

with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the UAE construction/engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in overseeing and managing the progress of various projects while ensuring quality control and compliance with standards, regulations, and safety requirements. This position requires a versatile and proactive individual with a strong background in project management, engineering design, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Supervision & Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of engineering projects, ensuring they meet project deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Coordinate between multiple disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) for project execution. Ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while adhering to the schedule and scope. Lead the execution of the project plan, supervising site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and submit

daily and weekly reports

on project status, including updates on budget, schedule, safety, and quality metrics. Ensure that all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders, are accurately maintained. Assist in preparing progress reports for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Meetings & Communication:

Attend

consultant and client meetings

, providing updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions. Communicate with project stakeholders to resolve any issues or risks that may arise during project execution. Liaise with design teams, procurement, and other engineering departments to ensure seamless project delivery.

Design & Software Expertise:

Use

AutoCAD

and other design visualization software for reviewing and creating technical drawings, ensuring they meet the project's requirements. Collaborate with design teams for revisions and improvements to project designs when necessary. Ensure designs adhere to applicable local and international standards and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance & Standards:

Maintain a strong understanding of industry

rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards

to ensure that all work is compliant with relevant laws. Monitor safety standards and risk management processes on-site, taking corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership & Decision Making:

Provide leadership to the engineering team, including mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Lead decision-making processes related to technical and operational challenges. Manage and allocate resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal project progress.

Time Management & Organization:

Ensure the project is organized and completed within the specified timeframe and budget. Apply

advanced time management

skills to meet deadlines and milestones while balancing multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Experience:

5-6 years of experience working as a Project Engineer in the UAE.

Certifications:

Current

Engineer license

in the UAE.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

MS Office Suite

(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Project Management:

Proven experience managing multiple discipline projects, with a strong understanding of the

project management lifecycle

.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Leadership & Decision Making:

Ability to lead project teams and make critical decisions under pressure.

Organizational Skills:

Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with

project management tools

(e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Knowledge of

local regulations and building codes

in the UAE. Ability to

multi-task

in a dynamic environment while meeting project deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex engineering issues.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
