The Project Engineer will be responsible for project management and oversee civil engineering projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. A valid engineering license from UAE authorities is required.
Project Planning & Design:
• Conduct feasibility studies and design evaluations for engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate and liaison with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to finalize designs.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Adhere to Dubai's legal, environmental, and safety regulations in project execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant governing bodies in Dubai.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Lead and coordinate engineering teams throughout project execution.
• Monitor procurement and manage project resources.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to design and standards.
Project Management :

Technical Supervision :
• Provide technical advice to resolve engineering issues during execution.
• Implement effective quality control and assurance processes.
• Perform risk assessments and take corrective actions as needed.
Documentation & Reporting :
• Prepare and submit technical and progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all project phases, designs, and approvals.
• Assist in preparing bids and cost estimates for new projects.
Training & Development :
• Mentor and guide engineers, technical staff, and trainees.
• Stay informed on the latest engineering practices, technologies, and regulatory changes in the UAE.
• Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with industry standards.
Qualification:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional certification and accreditation from a recognized engineering institution will be a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with UAE regulations and working within Dubai's Engineering environment.
• Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or development projects is preferred.
• A valid engineering license issued by the Dubai Municipality or another relevant UAE authority.
Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, administration, and construction methods
• MEP knowledge will be a plus
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations in Dubai
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.) and other engineering design tools
• Vendor Management
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
