Job Description

Role Overview :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee site execution for various projects. This role will involve meticulous project planning, execution oversight, problem-solving, and client interaction to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning

• Complete project documentation and checklists for every project.
• Prepare and obtain approval for site execution plans from the project lead.
• Organize necessary resources (manpower, materials, tools, and logistics) prior to site execution.
• Ensure all required permits and passes are secured before starting site work.
• Update the project plan daily and share progress reports with the project lead.

Site Execution

• Be present for client and mall inspections, organizing site meetings as required.
• Adhere strictly to the project plan and schedule, with no more than a one-day delay for hoarded sites.
• Review and check technical designs before the commencement of site work.
• Conduct technical briefings for the General Contractor (GC), Impact team, and subcontractors, ensuring no major design flaws are present.
• Verify and review invoices from subcontractors based on actual work completed before submission to Finance, ensuring all invoices are acknowledged with supporting documentation.
• Maintain strict quality control by inspecting work-in-progress (WIP) and completed work to meet project specifications, preparing and sharing a final snag report within one working day of site handover.

Problem-Solving, Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact between internal Impact teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring no escalations occur.
• Provide technical briefings to suppliers on-site, ensuring no major flaws are present.
• Resolve concerns raised by landlords and local authorities.
• Ensure that all work performed on-site adheres to safety standards set by Abra and the landlord.
• Promptly escalate technical issues to the production team or project lead within four hours.

Feedback & Client Servicing

• Prepare snag lists and address them within agreed timelines.
• Collect project sign-off at the time of handover.
• Prepare and share closing reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
