Project Engineer - High-Rise Construction (Dubai)

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction is one of the leading construction company in Dubai, specializing in the development of high-rise buildings. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in the successful delivery of our projects.

We are looking for a talented Project Engineer with a strong background in High-rise Construction Projects in Dubai . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to quality control and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Review and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Monitor and track project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures on site.
• Participate in value engineering discussions and propose solutions to optimize project costs and efficiency.
• Prepare and process project change orders.
• Assist with project handover and closeout activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Project Engineer in high-rise construction projects (experience in Dubai is highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes applicable in Dubai.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic fluency is a plus.
