Job Title: Project Engineer - Landscaping Industry (5+ years of Experience)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer in the landscaping industry with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing landscape design, implementation, and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex landscaping projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of landscaping projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Design & Planning: Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and clients to prepare landscape design proposals, project plans, and specifications.
• Site Supervision: Supervise on-site activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Coordination: Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, designers, and maintenance staff.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, provide cost estimates, and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of work to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all landscaping projects comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental requirements.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Sustainability Practices: Incorporate sustainable practices, such as water-efficient landscaping, eco-friendly materials, and energy-saving designs, into all projects.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports, update project schedules, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the landscaping or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, construction methods, and horticulture.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex landscaping projects.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems, hardscaping, planting, and maintenance.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and sustainability standards in landscaping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
