Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Overview:
The Project Engineer oversees technical and engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are executed as per design specifications, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with the project team, monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Execution:
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Engineer to monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Technical Support & Quality Control:
• Provide technical expertise to ensure construction activities adhere to design, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily logs, reports, technical drawings, and schedules.
• Compile and submit progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting project status, risks, and any required adjustments.
• Coordination with Stakeholders:
• Act as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss project goals, deliverables, timelines, and address any technical challenges.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Cost & Resource Management:
• Assist in tracking project costs and expenditures, ensuring resources are used efficiently and within budget.
• Review and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices and manage project materials to avoid wastage.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in construction projects like warehouses, villas, and manufacturing facilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera), AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues effectively.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills for collaboration with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• License: Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
