Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various engineering projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting Daily Progress and concern for the project to Project Head and Chairman.
• Accountability for the management and oversight of a project throughout its lifecycle.
• Control the Project cycle by analyzing and controlling the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing and a budget for the Project.
• Review and Study the Contracts for the Project and identify the risk factor and apply remedy for any concern.
• Close look at Project estimation with assistance of Estimator and look out for solution for any flaws in existing project estimation.
• Analysis of Budget for the Project and input expertise in enhancement of cost control.
• Coordination with Procurement team for arranging material schedule, long lead item schedule and subcontractor's finalization prior to execution of the project.
• Leading, guiding and training the Project team for smooth execution of the project.
• Track Project progress and generates reporting structure for Management.
• Control Manpower with assistance of Site Engineer and allocation as per project's activities requirement and program on Daily basis.
• Assign Site Engineer to report and track the overtime for site activities.
• Attend the weekly site meetings and handle the Consultant issues.
• Prepare, Analyze the Project Progress Payment application with the assistance of Office Engineering Department.
• Close watch on Variations, Extension of time with Cost and taking timely approval from the Consultant.
• Monitoring Subcontractor's activities like work progress, any penalties, material wastage, quality issues, delays and issuing targets for work completion.
• Timely reply to the mails and correspondence from the Consultant and Subcontractors.
• Involvement in upcoming Project discussions and meetings to input expertise and valuable suggestions.
• Involvement in Authorities inspections for Projects to control and avoid comments to an extent.
• Inspecting internally whether Project is ready for inspection prior to applying for the Authority inspections.
• Submitting Final Report for Project after completion which will include, how the Project progressed, how the project delayed, what was the cost estimated, what was the budget, how much budget incurred, why we went overbudget, delay damages and penalties, Responsible department for Loss and suggestions for improvements.

Education And Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Civil engineering

Work Experiences:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction.
• Must have Society of Engineering - Dubai.
• Must have unlimited Dubai Municipality license.
