Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Engineer will play a key role in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and will contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning and execution of oil and gas projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including design, construction, and commissioning phases
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project delivery
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, and champion a safety-first culture throughout all project activities
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities
- Prepare and present project status reports, performance metrics, and other relevant documentation to senior management and project stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, petroleum, or related field; master's degree or professional certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the oil and gas industry, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools, with a strong focus on safety and quality standards
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar applications
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
