We are seeking an experienced

Project Engineer

with a strong background in

construction

to oversee and manage projects in

high-rise buildings

and

residential buildings

. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in large-scale commercial and residential projects, ensuring that all aspects of construction adhere to technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

Oversee the overall progress of high-rise and residential building projects, from initial design through to completion. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Review project blueprints and plans to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulations.

Site Management:

Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work complies with safety standards, design specifications, and quality controls. Identify potential issues or delays and proactively resolve them to maintain project timelines. Manage material procurement, resource allocation, and equipment requirements. Enforce safety measures on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Budget & Cost Control:

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets. Monitor costs and ensure project is completed within budget constraints. Evaluate and report on costs, change orders, and deviations from budget to senior management.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the quality of construction work and materials by conducting inspections and quality control checks. Work with contractors to address any quality issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.

Communication & Reporting:

Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders. Liaise with clients to address concerns, updates, and approvals. Maintain clear and efficient communication across all teams involved in the project.

Documentation & Compliance:

Ensure that all necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance are in place. Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and environmental standards.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in

high-rise buildings

and

residential buildings

. Experience with large-scale residential projects, but

villa construction experience is not preferred

. Solid understanding of construction methods, project management, and contract management in high-rise and multi-story buildings.

Skills:

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage teams, budgets, and timelines effectively. Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.

Personal Attributes:

Strong leadership and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
