Job Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance of Substations

:

Oversee the

operation and maintenance

of

33KV and 11KV substations

, including installation, rectification, and commissioning of equipment.

Electrical Fault Detection & Rectification

Perform

electrical cable fault detection

using advanced locating machines and implement necessary

rectifications

to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

Cable Handling & Testing

:

Conduct thorough

inspection, glanding, termination

, and

testing

of electrical cables to maintain optimal system performance and safety.

Installation & Maintenance of Electrical Systems

:?

Electrical & Instrumentation Drawings

:?

Servicing & Maintenance of Switchgear

:?

Documentation & Project Management

:?

Preferred Knowledge

:

Supervise the

installation

and

maintenance

of

single-phase and three-phase motors

,

electrical panels

, and other associated electrical systems. Ability to

read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings

accurately to ensure correct implementation of projects and troubleshooting. Manage the

servicing and maintenance

of

electrical switchgear

such as

ATS

,

ACB

,

MCCB

,

MCB

, and other related equipment to guarantee the longevity and efficiency of systems. Prepare

Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

,

PPM schedules

,

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

, and

variation orders

for smooth project execution and adherence to timelines. Familiarity with other

electrical systems

, including

generators

and

switchgear

, to assist in project design and implementation.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification

:

BE in Electrical Engineering

or equivalent.
?

Experience

: Minimum

7-10 years

of experience in managing and maintaining

HV

and

LV systems

, specifically in

substations

and

electrical systems

.
?

Technical Expertise

:

Strong experience with

33KV and 11KV substations

,

cable fault detection

, and

testing

. Proficient in the

maintenance and servicing of electrical switchgear

and other

electrical systems

such as

motors

and

panels

.Strong knowledge of

electrical and instrumentation drawings

and the ability to interpret them accurately. Proficient in preparing

Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

,

PPM schedules

,

BOQ

, and

variation orders

. Excellent

problem-solving skills

and ability to perform

diagnostic checks

.

Preferred Knowledge

:

Knowledge of

generators

,

switchgear

, and advanced electrical systems will be an advantage.

Leadership and team management

skills to supervise and coordinate projects effectively.

Additional Information:

Must be willing to work in

rotational shifts

and handle

emergency breakdowns
