The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, analysing expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. The Project Cost Controller will collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to track costs, identify variances, and implement cost-saving measures.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project budgets in collaboration with project managers and finance teams.
Monitor project expenditures and compare them against budgets, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
Analyse cost data to identify trends, forecast future expenses, and provide accurate financial projections.
Implement and maintain cost control procedures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with project managers to review and approve project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
Prepare regular reports on project costs, variances, and financial performance for management review.
Perform Budget control in PR/PO process
Work closely with procurement teams to optimize purchasing processes and negotiate terms with suppliers.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across projects.
Provide guidance and support to project teams on cost management best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in cost control, budget management, or financial analysis, preferably in a project-based environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
