Job Description

The Project Controller will play a pivotal role in supporting our global projects by ensuring financial discipline, timely execution, and strategic resource allocation. This position demands a blend of expertise in cost control, project scheduling, budget management, and proficiency in SAP. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to monitor project performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the EPCM sector, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex project landscapes effectively.

:

• Oversee multiple project costs including budget, forecasting and cost control to ensure projects are completed within budget.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards, focusing on cash flow and revenue recognition.
• Review and validate ETC (Estimate to Complete), EAC (Estimate at Completion) and EAC margins.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to track project progress, identify risk or variance, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on project risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Utilize ERP systems, preferably SAP, for creating projects, cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and update project dashboards for real-time monitoring of project financial performance.
• Work closely with finance and project management teams to ensure accuracy in financial aspects reporting of the project.
• Regularly update project plans and budgets as required through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly project reports for senior management and stakeholders meeting.
• Ensure that all documents are current, accurately categorized, and easily accessible.
• Support the PMO in establishing best practices, tools, templates and methodologies for project planning, execution, and control to ensure consistency across projects.
• Train and support project teams in project control best practices to ensure adherence of project standards and policies.

Education -

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications in Project Management preferred

Qualifications -

• 7-10 years of experience in Project Cost control or project management within the EPCM industry.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a PMO environment
• Demonstrated expertise in cost control, budget management, and project scheduling.
• Proficient in SAP or related ERP systems and familiar with other project management software.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
• Familiarity with timesheet administration and resource management practices.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills

Skills -

• Cost Control : Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to manage project expenditures and forecasts.
• Finance knowledge: Good knowledge on cash flow and revenue recognition
• Project management : Overseeing project schedule, project risk, quality and resources together with project manager and engineer.
• ERP System : Knowledge & experience in SAP or any ERP systems
• Analytical Skills : Analyze complex data, identify trends of project in SAP Analytics
• Reporting : Prepare project reports using MS Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI)
• Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build strong working relationships.
