Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications. Schedule and conduct meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues that may arise.
2.Purchasing and Procurement: Manage project purchases by sourcing materials and equipment required for project execution. Compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Negotiate terms and prices with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
3.Regulatory Compliance : Interface with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary licenses and approvals for project implementation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
4.Technical Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical principles and AutoCAD drawings. Ability to interpret and explain project requirements to civil and mechanical contractors. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure project specifications are met accurately.
5.Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in mechanical and industrial engineering. Basic understanding of chemical processes and equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
6.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.Qualifications:
1.Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
3.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
5.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
6.Basic understanding of chemical processes is advantageous.
