Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Primary Objectives / Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Provide specialist project control services for the support of the Worley project control system\xc2\xb7 Assist the Business Systems Group in the rollout of the project control system including initial configuration and contribution to training activities.\xc2\xb7 Liaise with project teams to ensure the correct utilisation of the project control system based on project specific requirements and corporate guidelines\xc2\xb7 Project Set-Up - working with project management, system administration and document controls to develop a project set-up that facilitates both internal and external Project Services requirements).\xc2\xb7 Planning/Scheduling - Provide Project Planning/Scheduling services to project teams to ensure that completion dates are being met.\xc2\xb7 Cost Management/Control - Provide cost control services to project teams to ensure proper project cost management and profitability monitoring.\xc2\xb7 Invoice Advice Reports - Verify & Approve Invoice Advice Reports before issuance to Finance.\xc2\xb7 Project Analysis and Forecasting - Analyse costs/schedules and report on any anomalies, fluctuations, unusual occurrences or other spending concerns that could impact the project final cost forecast and expected completion date.\xc2\xb7 Proposal Support - Provide Planning/Scheduling and cost estimation/commercial support for proposals.\xc2\xb7 Interface Management - facilitating communication between and among Project-Managers, Discipline Leads, System Administrator and Document Controller.\xc2\xb7 Take ownership of the cost control and ensure integrity of the data being processed, coordinate with Finance if required, prior to report submission to management or for the purpose of PCS/WPR meetings.\xc2\xb7 Liaise with clients to clarify cost related issues and develop timely and meaningful monthly invoices. Ensure payment of invoices according to contract terms.Project Deliverables\xc2\xb7 Review and develop data interfaces for third party project systems, as required\xc2\xb7 Prepare and control Work Orders (WO).\xc2\xb7 Implement financial controls including controlling authorisations of expenditure and cash flow projections.\xc2\xb7 Project Updates - provide weekly progress-collection & updates; schedule updates; cost control & management; change order/variation management; cash flow status; subcontractor progress management; weekly upload of project data to Project Controls Database.\xc2\xb7 Project Reporting - issue of internal weekly project status/productivity reports and Clients External progress reports - Preparation of monthly financial reports for the project. Also prepare other financial analysis as required on an adhoc basis\xc2\xb7 Quality Control - ensuring projects are controlled, monitored, and documented according Project Services standards /specifications; conduct timely Project Controls audits on project level.Worley, Vision, Purpose & Values\xc2\xb7 Understands and communicates Worleys Vision, Purpose & Values and translates the strategy into practical goals and objectives for self and team membersQuality Assurance\xc2\xb7 Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.Safety\xc2\xb7 Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.\xc2\xb7 Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practiceJob Specific Knowledge:\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated knowledge of engineering design, construction and project delivery.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of the application of the Worley Project Review (WPR) and Enterprise Management System (EMS).\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of the application of the Worley core systems such as Oracle (finance and time sheeting), and Ecosys (Project Control).\xc2\xb7 Responsible for understanding the complete scope of work and the project estimate, including sub-contractors work.\xc2\xb7 Technical skills in Cost & Schedule Management, Earned Value & Change Management required.\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of the commercial aspect of the project contract/procedure and the application to the cost management.\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge and understanding of earned value forecasting and productivity/risk analysis for cost forecasts and contingency management.\xc2\xb7 Ability to create/update cost and planning estimating/control methods and procedures to reflect the latest project execution philosophies.QualificationsIndustry Specific Experience:\xc2\xb7 Minimum years in planning/cost control experience within the oil and gas industry, of which at least years must be as a Project Controls Engineer for an offshore project.\xc2\xb7 Experience in cost control, cost estimating, project scheduling and risk management with associated alignment of these disciplines.\xc2\xb7 Must have proven track record in handling engineering projects in different phases like Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Engineering.Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\xc2\xb7 Full-Time Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited university\xc2\xb7 Project Controls certification from PMI or AACE will be preferred.HSE Capability:\xc2\xb7 Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate behaviour and business practices commensurate with a culture of worlds best health, safety and environmental performance.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to:1. personal well-being;2. healthy and safe workplaces and activities; and3.
