Job Description

We are Interior design office based on Abu Dhabi, in seeking for a Project Architect/ Interior Designer who can do the following:

• Responsible to follow up the project from design stage till the tender document and tender contract stage.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Creating detailed shop drawings to ensure accurate and precise execution of design concepts.
• Make a deliver set for detail design drawings and follow up the team that is working on it with all details required.
• Develop detailed design plans and specifications for architectural and interior projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Make coordination between all disciplines(Architectural, Structural, and MEP)
• To plan and monitor project schedules and project deliverable in accordance with project contracts
• Evaluating designs; coordinate with consultants and sub contractors for changes in the same.
• Planning time & resources, scheduling the activities, updating actual progress, analyzing variance, forecasting weekly & monthly resource requirements etc.
• Monitoring/discussing project status; reviewing during the course of project review meeting.
• Contract(s) Administration and implement of various versions of FIDIC conditions of contracts.
• Review tender documents and give advice on technical & documented flaws.
• Attends meeting, writhing MOM, resolves design or construction problems, meets with contractors, sub-consultant, clients and relevant officials as to when required.
• Ensure that projects are built in accordance with agreed plans, standards and within budget.
• Reviews specification and POQ of design & construction contracts.
• Monitor progress on site(s), ensure conformance to plans, specifications & construction safety standards.
• Checking shop drawing and following project's progress on sites.
• At least 7 years of working experience in UAE in the same field.
• Preferably someone who can read and write Arabic language.
