Job Code: 125/001/338 Industry: Oil & GasJob Purpose: Prepare accurate costs and tenders for major coating and fabrication works for onshore and offshore pipeline & structural projects. Be responsible for inquiries from their receipt of inquiry to signing of contracts and handing over to the Customer Service Department for execution.Job Responsibilities:
Receive Tender Documents / Invitations to Quote on the coating of steel pipes.
- Review of Documents, noting the following: a) Technical review of specifications b) Contractual / T&C review (including legal implications, compliance) c) Production and Planning review of the scope of work to meet project timelines - Work with the Factory to establish accurate STD rates for all products before preparing the MA with accuracy including coordinating with global strategic partners. - Order Execution review with CSD & BD Team and ISC Team if necessary.
Liaise with all relevant Managers, Coordinators, and Superintendents, in assessing that the company can meet the required specifications.
Obtain from the client any clarifications/amendments to the tender/contract documents.
Following consideration of the above, compilation and submission of Tender Bids to the Regional Sales & BD Manager for their approval. Facilitate approval for BB & PBG & Special payment terms.
Following contract award, provide complete information to the Customer Service Team so that he/she may facilitate contract reviews, and purchase orders for the execution of the work, prepare all schedules, order materials and coordinate operations (Project Handover). Escalate to the Project Manager if additional documentary requirements exist in such tenders such as MRB, ITP, etc.
Supply relevant Managers with all necessary project details.
Facilitate Bid Review Meetings with corresponding operations.
Manage bid workload and assign tasks to the bidding team during the absence of the Regional Sales & BD Manager or his designee.
Assist Regional Sales & BD Manager to manage and update bid cost templates.
Facilitate pricing approval by liaising with corresponding Business Development (BD) personnel.
Facilitate bid submission for various locations for certain projects as and when required.
Job Requirements:
Must possess 3-6 years of experience with the Oil / Gas Market and various steel manufacturers.
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.
Have the experience and ability to independently manage and help the Sales Team win strategic bids.
Excellent communication and human relationship skills, able to create a good rapport with both external and internal customers alike.
Analytical mind.
Understanding business principles.
Good understanding of the Oil & Gas Market / Industry.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
A UAE driving license is required.
