:Responsible to support PMs with project documentation and cost allocation to projects as well as calculating and analyzing project profitability (working with finance, estimation, sales & operations). Ensuring the accuracy of sales and cost data and completeness of project documentation. Provides insights and reporting to FM and CFO on business commercial and cost analysis, inventory analysis and investment appraisal. Seconded to and partnered with PM team in order provide effective and efficient on-ground support.Support to PMs with project documentation and cost allocation on all projects, helping to ensure completeness and timely closure of all project profitability records.
Reporting to finance (seconded to projects).
Close collaboration with estimation team. Support with costing and analysis of project sales and costs; review & analysis of variances between actual material consumption, labour, subcontractor and other costs vs. estimations.
Independent assessment and analysis of project gross margin for all the projects including identification of items to be capitalized.
Support the monthly analysis of inventory aging across all the warehouses and inventory categories. (i.e., Finished goods, WIP, Raw material, packing material, spares)
Prepare period analysis on non-moving inventory and liaise with operations team for write-offs proposals.
Support business stakeholders with pricing and investment decisions, by providing project cost estimates, gross margin and business case / NPV analysis.
Support with month-end reporting for manufacturing entity in RAK & Ras Al Khor.
Perform monthly GL reconciliation of Inventory, work-in-process, and COGS accounts.
Review and track raw material price trends and post vendor invoices for Raw material supplies.
Support the finance manager with:-PP&E register, record acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation transactions.-Coordination with plants for period and annual physical inventory counts.Requirements:
Navision, MS Dynamics, Power BI
MS Office, Adobe DC Pro
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting and finance.
Part- or fully-qualified professional certification in Cost & Management accounting (ACMA, CMA or equivalent.)
3 - 4 years of experience in project accountant or cost accountant role, ideally from manufacturing or events.
Excellent data analytics skills.
