Responsible to provide the technical support to UAEU ERP system and provide technical advice and guidance to ERP functional owners and end-users. Programmer Analyst will also be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting in-house developed or purchased applications at the area of ERP system. Involvement in all the development lifecycle phases as required. Responsible to provide post-go live support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical support for UAEU ERP System and advice and guidance to ERP functional owners and end-users \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with the IT Coordinators or independent to support requirements gathering and analysis. This process encompasses studying and defining the business requirements and prioritization of features and functions of new or existing systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Application coding as set in the approved requirement specifications document by the customer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve all applications related issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support change management process in UITS and code documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adhere to best practices in software development and provide the same assistance to other programmers as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate flow charts, problem statements, and specifications into programming languages. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out specifications design that includes translating users\xe2\x80\x99 business requirements into a technical solution (functional and interface design). \xe2\x80\xa2 Sets up and supports all software testing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists in the release control process by supporting the systems administration team in the move of code from testing to production environment after completion and sign off on UAT. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to adhere with all information security policies and procedures of the University. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of five years of relevant core programming experience in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Strong Experience in Functional & Technical support of Ellucian Banner 9 \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with other Ellucian products (Workflow, BDMS, ODS) and third-party solutions integrated with Ellucian (i.e Form Fusion, Intellecheck) will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with Oracle Developer (Forms and Reports) \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong programming knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, .NET and Java. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of application performance tuning techniques. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and techniques based on best practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of modular design and development practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Problem solving and analytical skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work effectively independently, and as part of a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written and oral communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oracle certification will be an advantage
