The Program Manager, Operations is responsible for coordinating multiple related projects and stakeholder management directed toward a common objective. The Program Manager will work with the constituent Project Manager to monitor costs, schedule, and technical performance of component projects while working to ensure the programs ultimate success. Generally responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources amount constituent project.What You Will Do:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned programs.
Direct and support the development of schedules/timelines/cost plans that support the business objectives, established budgets, resources, and project deliverables for each project.
Oversee day-to-day execution of the overall project delivery process, including coaching cross-functional teams.
Review and influence projects to ensure projects are executed within the approved budget and schedule and in accordance with company Quality requirements.
Prepares technically accurate and timely reports related to the program.
Managing and utilizing resources across programs
Managing stakeholders communication and preparing communications for management and updates.
Managing the primary project documentation from project initiation through completion in accordance with the process instruction.
Ensure that invoices are correctly prepared in accordance with contractual terms and are issued to clients in a timely manner.
Stays actively informed concerning technical, business, and management developments affecting present and potential customers and communicates this information promptly to the appropriate senior-level managers.
Prepare and submit time charge records, expense reports, and invoice approvals in a timely manner in accordance with company procedures.
Negotiate budgets, schedules, project terms, and conditions on specific proposal opportunities and change requests.
Work with Survey and Engineering Management to establish staffing requirements supporting program execution.
What You Will Need:Education and Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor of Science
Preferably a Master of Science degree in Project Management or Engineering Management.
Typically holds one of the following Project Management Professional certifications; PMP, PgMP, PfMP.
Typically, a minimum of 10216 years of project management-related experience in a lead role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques
Ability to work positively with various individuals involved in the project.
The ability to identify, analyze and solve complex and unique program-related problems.
Ability to organize, plan, monitor, and control contractual project requirements, budgets, schedules, and technical work.
Exceptional Proficiency with PM tools and software (i.e., MS Office and MS Project) will be preferred.
Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills and highly complex and unique technical issues to personnel who may or may not be in related technical fields.
Realization of financial aspects of approved business plans and budgets pertaining to the program.
Ability to direct the execution of complex programs.
Ability to learn the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.
