  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to review and draft contracts, making recommendations for revisions or amendments as necessary.
  • Maintain an organized contract repository and ensure all contracts are properly documented and accessible.
Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans to minimize exposure and protect the organization\'s interests.
  • Monitor contract performance and proactively address any issues or deviations from agreed-upon terms.
Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements governing contracts, including but not limited to privacy laws, intellectual property rights, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations and standards related to contract management, and implement necessary updates to processes and procedures.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract matters.
  • Communicate contract requirements, rights, and obligations to relevant parties, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the contract lifecycle.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure contract performance and effectiveness of risk management strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting contract status, risk exposure, and mitigation efforts.
Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, ensuring adherence to contract terms and service level agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for contract renewals, terminations, or modifications as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, risk assessment, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing contracts in a complex business environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) or Risk Management (e.g., CRM, CRMP) is a plus.
