Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with legal counsel to review and draft contracts, making recommendations for revisions or amendments as necessary.
Maintain an organized contract repository and ensure all contracts are properly documented and accessible.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans to minimize exposure and protect the organization\'s interests.
Monitor contract performance and proactively address any issues or deviations from agreed-upon terms.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements governing contracts, including but not limited to privacy laws, intellectual property rights, and industry-specific regulations.
Stay abreast of changes in regulations and standards related to contract management, and implement necessary updates to processes and procedures.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract matters.
Communicate contract requirements, rights, and obligations to relevant parties, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the contract lifecycle.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure contract performance and effectiveness of risk management strategies.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting contract status, risk exposure, and mitigation efforts.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, ensuring adherence to contract terms and service level agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for contract renewals, terminations, or modifications as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, risk assessment, or related field.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing contracts in a complex business environment.
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) or Risk Management (e.g., CRM, CRMP) is a plus.
