Aviation Maintenance Program Manager for Maintenance Contract leads Department Managers, Team Leads and Supervisor of all employees within maintenance, logistics, workshops, and quality control functions. Carries out directives for GAL HQ and Customer for all aviation issues relating to maintenance, material planning, and contract requirements and deliverables. Responsible for the overall day-to-day maintenance functions within the boundaries of the contract.
Also, will be responsible:
1. Manages all facets of aircraft maintenance, personnel, resources and equipment associated with the contract. 2. Ensures that all aircraft inspection procedures, maintenance practices, standards, and records comply with al Military FAA, TAMMS, GAL, and Customer regulations. 3. Ensure safety standards are adhered to and improve overall safety culture. 4. Responsible for the preparation of different audits parties and all subsequent corrections. 5. Responsible for the oversight, guidance, and counseling of all department managers, ensuring that managers are conducting productive and positive oversight of their departments. 6. Provides aircraft maintenance and related activity reporting and processes to include: collecting, combining, and presenting reports; developing and submitting monthly contract deliverables (CDRL); developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance and logistics and determining maintenance personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads. 7. Responsible for the management and the supervision of maintenance activities to include phase inspections, modifications and repair of aircraft and aircraft structures, engines, and accessories. 8. Ensures aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, technical manuals, airworthiness directives, and good maintenance practices. 9. Manages the scheduled maintenance forecasting and planning for assets in support of mission requirements, the flying-hour program, and the bank time goals. Considers all factors that affect workflow, such as location of equipment and facilities, tools and tool control, supplies and logistical constraints, job requirements and technician skill sets. 10. Provides program over site and direction over maintenance support functions which include logistics, quality control, shops and information technology. 11. Develops primary and recurring training for all contract personnel to ensure that they are trained on new model aircraft before being assigned to duties on those aircrafts. 12. The Aviation Maintenance Program Manager is directly responsible for the performance appraisals of all functional managers. 13. Monitors the deployment execution and providing procedural guidance when necessary. 14. May delegate authority and functions to the Ops Manager but must retain responsibility for all assigned Managers. 15. Sustain contractual KPIs within pre-specified limitations and indicate/flag any potential drop downs to the Aviation Directorate. 16. Represnt the official link of the maintenance program with the customer leadership.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Discipline (Aircraft Maintenance)Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringMSc in Aviation / Project / Engineering Management disciplines is desired.
Bachelor's Degree in Program Management.
Must have good knowledge of Special Operations Mission requirements, equipment and maintenance programs.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 Years Supervisory experience in managing aviation maintenance and modification programs of military aircrafts.
Must have experience with logistical life cycle contracts and the material planning requirements of multiple aircraft.
Experience negotiating contract requirements and vendor selection with major OEMs for production of Aircraft and parts procurement.
