Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assist in developing and implementing daily and weekly production plans to meet targets. Ensure production processes adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements. Monitor production progress and ensure that all team members meet production goals and deadlines. Coordinate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth workflow. Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, ensuring they understand work instructions and safety procedures. Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and assist with performance evaluations. Address and resolve any conflicts or issues among team members. Ensure all products meet established quality standards and take corrective actions when necessary. Perform regular checks and inspections to identify potential defects or process inefficiencies. Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety rules and conducting regular safety audits. Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents, ensuring proper corrective actions are taken. Ensure employees wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Work closely with the Production Manager to optimize workflow, equipment utilization, and workforce efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology. Communicate any challenges or concerns to the Production Manager and suggest solutions for improvement. Overall Skills and Abilities Capable of learning intermediate Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Metrics, and ZPI skills. Strong planning/organizational skills and interpersonal skills. Understanding of requirements and importance of documentation. Can understand and write SOPs, OPLs, and CILs. Project conceptualization, generation, implementation, and project completion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work successfully in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds. Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (e.g., lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry). Ability to lift 50 lbs. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Minimum of 3+ years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards. Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with production management software. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
