Job Description

We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Mattress Manufacturing Company. The production supervisor is responsible for the daily manufacturing operations of bedding products, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining quality standards, meeting production targets, and ensuring workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure that bedding products are produced according to quality standards and within the scheduled time frame.
• Ensure that the production floor operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Monitor the production process, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate production schedules with other departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Lead, supervise, and train a team of production workers, including machine operators, assembly line staff, and material handlers.
• Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and offer coaching to team members to improve performance.
• Motivate and inspire the team to meet productivity goals while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
• Ensure that bedding products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Address quality issues and work with quality control personnel to implement corrective measures.
• Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed on the production floor.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among the team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with supply chain or procurement teams to ensure adequate materials are available for production.
• Help manage the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including daily output, worker attendance, and any incidents.
• Prepare and submit production reports to the Production Manager for review and analysis.
• Analyze production metrics and implement improvements based on findings.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new production technologies that could enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork on the production floor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, machine operation, and quality control techniques.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and production management software (ERP systems).
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in bedding or textile production.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
