Job Description

P roduction planner job description includes the following responsibilities:

• Managing the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to meet deadlines.
• Overseeing production in a manufacturing plant and helping plan for production needs.
• Scheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resources.
• Reviewing and acting upon order release and exception messages, and coordinating Bills of Materials.
• Monitoring inventory levels, providing production status updates, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Production Planner skills and qualifications
