Job Description

The position of production planner consists of planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes, in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.

• Planning and scheduling work based on the projects received and taking into consideration staff, current production load, existing machinery and other resources
• Preparing weekly/monthly Production reports to board of Management
• Introducing all Production Stages with Production activities and Machinery needed in delivering the Production Schedule
• Using Epicor for all tasks/processes, such as planning, material requests etc
• Optimizing the resources in terms of labor force and machine-hours for each project/offer
• Drafting a timescale for the job/bid.
• Direct collaboration with the estimator for the bids and the contracted projects.
• Identifying training requirements
• Working with top managers to implement the company's policies and goals.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Joinery Production planner or similar role
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Quality control and understanding of Joinery shop drawings
• Ability to manage a production team and meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
• Familiar with CNC Based Machines (Programming and Operations)
• Knowledgeable regarding layout of material cutting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to write briefs, promote and explain ideas
• Awareness of production and safety regulations
• Ability to read and analyze the CAD drawings
• Familiar with carpentry work and tools
• Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Joinery: 5 years (Required)
• Manufacturing: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Preferred)
