Job Purpose

To operate a limited range of machines for manufacturing and filling paint as per agreed operational methods and standards and in line with Company's Health, Safety, and Environment Policy to ensure 100% compliance with IPSAL's weekly production plan.

Key Accountabilities

Pre-batch the raw materials as per the picking list Transfer, check, and charge raw materials, control process materials, sampling, filling maintain the process parameters such as temperature, machine speed) Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids Drives forklift machines to stack and remove materials from the racks and transfer pans on the production floor. (Process & Raw material required but for packing not required) Ensure that assigned machines and area are kept tidy and clean Follow the ISO and HSE Procedures

Experience

Secondary school education or equivalent A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in batch processing within a manufacturing environment Basic command of spoken and written English and preferably Arabic Basic knowledge of equipment and its operational settings e.g BEAD mills, high speed dispersion machines; filling machines Basic knowledge of safety rules and measures in a production environment Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact position Recording basic data on specific operational forms At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
