Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced "Production & Operations Incharge" to oversee all aspects of manufacturing and operational activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the preferred Gold & Precious Metal Manufacturing and or relevant industry (Preferred 18 Karat & 21 Karat Gold Categories), with a proven track record of optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop production plans and schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity to ensure timely delivery of gold products.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Designing and Other related teams to prioritize production tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.

2. Supervision of Production Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day production activities, including casting, molding, shaping, polishing, and finishing of gold products, to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Monitor production processes closely, troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

3. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize production processes, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve production targets in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer demands, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the gold manufacturing sector.
• Collaborate with senior management to define production goals, timelines, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and sustainable business growth.

4. Production Management:

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of high-quality gold products.
• Coordinate with department heads to plan and prioritize production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Monitor production activities closely, address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth operations.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Establish and enforce stringent quality control measures to ensure that all gold products meet or exceed industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement quality assurance protocols throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product inspection, to maintain consistency and integrity in product quality.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and reliability.

6. Inventory Management:

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods to support production operations.
• Utilize inventory management tools and systems to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source high-quality raw materials and components from reliable suppliers at competitive prices while maintaining inventory integrity.

7. Process Optimization and Improvement:

• Lead initiatives to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, automation technologies, and best practices.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and process audits to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in production workflows and resource utilization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, introduce new technologies, and optimize production layouts to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.

8. Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates for production operations, capital investments, and resource allocation to support business objectives and financial targets.
• Monitor production expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize spending, improve profitability, and maximize return on investment.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track production costs, analyze financial performance, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and cost effectiveness.

9. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production outputs, material usage, inventory levels, and quality inspection results, for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Generate production reports, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

10. Customer Service and Communication:

• Liaise with sales, customer service, and other departments to address customer inquiries, resolve production-related issues, and ensure customer satisfaction with product quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and contractors to coordinate production activities, resolve logistical challenges, and ensure smooth operation of the production process.

11. Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the production and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Recruit, train, and develop talent within the production team, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their roles effectively and contribute to the company's success.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements to motivate and empower employees to excel in their roles and advance their careers within the organization.

12. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in gold product manufacturing to identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and product development.
• Encourage creativity and innovation within the production team, solicit feedback and suggestions for improvement, and implement ideas to enhance product quality, efficiency, and competitiveness in the market.

13. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Implement safety protocols, procedures, and training programs to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards, and promote a culture of safety awareness and risk mitigation.
• Investigate and address any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses promptly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve workplace safety practices.

These responsibilities are crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of a gold manufacturing unit, while also maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in production and operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the preferred Gold & Precious Metal Manufacturing industry (Preferred 18 Karat & 21 Karat Gold Categories) and or relevant industry.
• Proficient in MS Office and Presentation Skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment used in gold and precious metal fabrication.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex production operations, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high levels of performance and collaboration.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
