From our Sharjah Airport Free Zone facility, we produce over 10,000 refurbished laptops monthly, supporting e-commerce operations in the UK and France. Role Overview

The Production Manager will oversee all production activities and stock movement throughout the refurbishment process, ensuring seamless workflows and adherence to timelines. The role demands strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills to maintain operational efficiency and meet production goals. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes run smoothly, equipment and inventory are efficiently managed, and all deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight:

Manage the daily operations of all production activities, from goods-in to final assembly. Ensure production targets of 10,000+ laptops per month are met within set timelines. Monitor and optimize workflows across all departments, including technical repairs, cosmetic repairs, screen repairs, and final QC.

Stock Movement Management:

Oversee the movement of stock throughout the refurbishment process, ensuring accuracy in tracking and reporting. Coordinate with the Goods-In team to efficiently allocate laptops to the appropriate departments based on their condition and required work. Ensure the timely availability of parts and materials needed for uninterrupted production.

Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and implement production plans to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource utilization. Schedule production activities and assign tasks to supervisors and team leads to maintain efficiency. Anticipate potential bottlenecks and proactively address them to avoid delays.

Process Optimization:

Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet quality standards. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to align production activities with overall company goals.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage production teams across multiple departments, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all production outputs meet YesAgain's stringent quality standards. Work closely with the Quality Control team to minimize defects and address recurring issues.

Reporting and Communication:

Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output, stock movement, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager, CEO, and COO to update on progress and challenges. Maintain effective communication with the UK and French teams regarding stock status and order fulfillment.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and environmental sustainability practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free production environment.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing, refurbishment, or a similar industry. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in production planning tools and software (e.g., Airtable, ERP systems). Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with experience in cross-functional and cross-border collaboration.
