Qualification: Preferably candidates with Chemical Engineering/MSc Chemistry/ Petrochemical Engineering with Experience in acetates manufacturing companies. Reporting to: General Manager Salary Offered: AED 8,000/- (Negotiable with Experience) Joining Time: Immediate Joining Email Id: apc.hr@asia-petrochem.com Job Specification: The applicant must be well versed in Esterification Process, Dehydration Process, Rectification and Recovery process. Should have thorough knowledge of SCADA control system and distillation process. : - Planning day to day activities of production, production schedules and allocating work for achieving of monthly production targets. - Appraising the prevalent production systems/processes, identifying loopholes if any and understanding result-oriented measures for alleviating them. - Managing and operating personnel/administration on daily basis for achieving the production targets. - Minimizing performance-bottlenecks for achieving high productivity with optimization of men, material & machine and facility. - Handling the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet production targets. - To ensure safe work practices in plant operation & raw material handling - To run the plant as per GMP norms. - Controlling and troubleshooting the distillation process. - Control and operate the distillation process through SCADA control system. - Maintain the purity, acidity and any other factors affecting the production. - Maintain the temperature of condenser. - Check the samples and reports from the Gas Chromatography to make sure the production quality during the process. - Follow SOPs, during emergencies, start up and Shut down process. - Must have working experience on the Machines & equipments such compressors, Steam Turbines, Cooling towers, Boilers, Pumps and Oil heaters. - Providing guidance to Maintenance teams for the periodic and preventive maintenance of the production plant - Executing cost saving techniques/measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditure and work within the budget. - Ensure the consumption in terms of Utility (GAS/WATER/DIESEL) is in line with production. - Formulating operational HSE reports and presenting to the management on a regular basis. - Periodically overseeing site inspection, safety, fabrications, fire calls, maintenance activities, etc. - Devising result-oriented measures for conserving resources. - Executing waste management measures for optimum utilization of resources. - Charting safety measures for minimizing occurrence of accidents, fires, calamities.
