Position: Production Manager (Carpentry and Advertising - UAE)

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to oversee our carpentry and advertising projects. Based in the UAE, this role involves managing skilled teams to deliver high-quality carpentry and advertising solutions, ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination:
• Plan and manage the production process for carpentry (e.g., furniture, displays) and advertising (e.g., signage, branding materials).
• Liaise with clients, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely completion of all projects.

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, technicians, and installers, ensuring efficient workflows.
• Provide training and mentorship to improve team skills and foster a positive work environment.
• Assign tasks effectively and monitor team performance, addressing any issues promptly.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all carpentry and advertising products meet client expectations and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections during and after production to maintain quality and resolve defects.
• Implement best practices to maintain consistency and excellence across projects.

Resource Management:

• Oversee the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for all projects.
• Monitor and control costs, minimizing waste and staying within budget.
• Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to avoid delays.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously review production processes to identify and implement improvements.
• Introduce innovative techniques and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
• Ensure the workspace and equipment are well-maintained and operating at optimal levels.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations across all production activities.
• Conduct regular safety checks and provide training on workplace safety protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental sustainability.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

• Provide clear and regular updates to clients about project progress.
• Address client feedback and ensure their satisfaction with the final product.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align production with branding goals.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, costs, and timelines.
• Prepare regular reports for management on performance and project status.
• Ensure documentation of standard operating procedures for all production processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Design, or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in carpentry and advertising in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and advertising production processes.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, AutoCAD).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety regulations is a plus.
