Job Description

•JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: PRODUCTION IN-CHARGE •

As a Production In-charge, your role is critical in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

Production Support:

• Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily production activities to ensure that production targets are met.
• Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for production.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

Delivery Schedule Management:

• Work closely with the Production Manager to develop and maintain delivery schedules, ensuring that all orders are completed and dispatched on time.
• Track and monitor the progress of production orders to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
• Communicate with the logistics and sales teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any potential delays or issues.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards before dispatch and that delivery documentation is accurate and complete.

Labor Management:

• Assist in managing and supervising the labour force, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet production demands.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to workers in coordination with the Production Manager.
• Monitor labour performance and productivity, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Assist in training new employees and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure production goals are achieved. You will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process while supporting the Production Manager in achieving overall operational success.
