Position: Production Manager
As the Production Manager at Creative Home, you will oversee the production and manufacturing processes for complete renovation projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, high-quality craftsmanship, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Coordination:
Plan and coordinate production activities for kitchen and bathroom renovation projects.
Develop production schedules, workflows, and timelines to meet project requirements.
Allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, effectively to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Design and Cutting List Management:
Work closely with the design team to interpret client requirements and translate them into detailed 2D designs and layouts.
Develop and manage cutting lists and material specifications for production.
Ensure that designs and cutting lists align with project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
Address any issues or concerns related to quality promptly and effectively.
Resource and Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies required for production.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Optimize inventory management practices to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and supervise production teams, including carpenters, craftsmen, and other production staff.
Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and capabilities.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.
Budget and Cost Management:
Collaborate with the estimating team to develop production budgets and cost estimates.
Monitor production expenses and costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the construction or renovation industry, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
Strong knowledge of 2D design software and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and motivating teams.
Understanding of production processes, techniques, and best practices in home renovation.
