Working closely with the Production Manager, the Production Engineer/In-charge is responsible for a trouble-free and smooth calcination and board plant production and all production-related activities.The Production Engineer/In-charge provides general supervision and all technical support to their team for all phases of plant operations: Production planning, process control, quality control, inventory management, manpower management and cost analysis and management reporting.Job Responsibilities : * Complete calcination and board production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, reporting attendance time cards for staff leaves, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules and ensuring smooth change overs, resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. In addition, coordinate the activities of calcinations, board plant, jointing compound and tiles production.

• Maintain work flow and ensure trouble-free production by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing work stations, control points, operations and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, reporting and facilitating corrections to malfunctions together with the Production Manager. Assisting the maintenance team in troubleshooting, initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Lead the team and achieve results by orienting, training, communicating values, strategies, objectives, job expectation, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, motivating, developing a climate for offering information and opinions, monitoring the attendance of the production tram , coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Ensure compliance with the required quality criteria. Study and investigate quality complaints and resolve issues highlighted. Continuously improve the production quality by applying focused improvement principles.
• Responsible for the production data management in SAP including but not limited to checking of raw material stocks, entering of raw materials and posting daily production. Placing PR (production request) for production related items/material.
• Preparing the dispatch process by coordinating the culls and packing board, in coordination with mechanical department, arranging forklifts, coordinating with the Dispatch team for SAP entries.
• Maintain all production-related records and files as per the ISO records for auditing and certifying bodies.
• Maintain good housekeeping, cleanliness and orderliness within the area of responsibility as per company standards.
• Comply with safety requirements and encourages safe working practices.
• Adhere to the QMS system, EHSMS of Abu Dhabi and ISO 9001 requirements.
