Position Title: Production Design Engineer

Location: Sharjah, UAE
Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Production Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the production of furniture and storage solutions. This role requires advanced technical expertise and experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as a strong background in sheet metal design and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

o Create detailed and precise designs for furniture and storage solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

o Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.

o Maintain project documentation and design records.

o Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

o Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing process.

o Assist in troubleshooting design-related production issues, specifically in sheet metal design and manufacturing.

o Work with quality control teams to ensure products meet quality standards.

o Implement design changes based on feedback from production and quality control teams.

o Apply knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations to improve design and production processes.

o Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure product designs align with market trends and customer preferences.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.

o At least 1 year of experience in using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design purposes. advanced proficiency is required.

o At least 1 year of experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing.

o Proficiency in fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations.

o Experience with manufacturing processes and materials used in furniture production.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication in English and teamwork abilities.

o Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Experience:

• Sheet Metal Design: 1 year (Required)
• Solidworks and Autocad: 2 years (Required)
• Sheet Metal Fabrication: 1 year (Required)
