We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Connection Uniforms LLC, a leading apparel manufacturer. The Production Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of production processes, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires exceptional communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to support various production activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Planning: Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Order Coordination: Serve as the main liaison between design, sourcing, manufacturing, and shipping teams to facilitate smooth order execution.
• Material Management: Monitor the procurement and delivery of raw materials, trims, and accessories, ensuring availability for production timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Vendor Communication: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to track order status, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
• Data Management: Update and maintain production records, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Problem Solving: Address production challenges proactively, such as delays or material shortages, and implement effective solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and any applicable regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in fashion production, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in production coordination, preferably in the apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of garment production processes, including fabric sourcing, pattern-making, and manufacturing timelines.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with production management software.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
