Job Description

As a Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of work and materials across our departments. Here are your key responsibilities:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments based on daily and weekly production schedules. Review and distribute production, work, and site schedules; consult with department supervisors to assess work progress and completion dates, as well as inventory levels. Ensure that daily production targets are met to align with site demands and expectations. Analyze and prepare necessary documents and materials for fabrication, while prioritizing job orders for optimal production efficiency. Maintain the production schedule and generate reports as needed. Collaborate with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents, ensuring alignment with the production schedule and customer expectations. Complete status reports detailing production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory. Coordinate with the Production Lead on any project-related tasks. Monitor and update job orders regularly. Create cutting lists, determine project quantities, and send purchase requests before project initiation. Develop programs, schedules, and planning for projects. Monitor and update delivery schedules for each project as per job orders. Serve as the Quality Management Representative, overseeing documentation needed for ISO audits and certifications. Coordinate with third parties regarding audit matters and documentation for Fire Rated Doors Certificates. Manage the monitoring and release of Fire Rated Door stickers to project leads.
