: Assistant Production Engineer - Wooden Cable Drum Production
Position Summary:
The Assistant Production Engineer supports the production processes of wooden cable drums, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing. This role involves assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support:

Assist in managing daily production operations to meet scheduled targets.
Monitor and optimize the manufacturing processes for wooden cable drums, including cutting, assembling, and finishing.
Ensure the effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Quality Assurance:

Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and address defects or process deviations promptly.
Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain consistent product quality.
Process Improvement:

Analyze production workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and cost-saving measures.
Assist in training workers on new processes or equipment.
Maintenance Coordination:

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely servicing of machinery and tools.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues during production.
Doentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production metrics, material usage, and downtime.
Prepare daily or weekly reports for the production manager.
Safety and Compliance:

Enforce adherence to workplace safety standards and procedures.
Support compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in wooden cable drum production or a similar field.

Technical Skills:

Understanding of production planning and inventory management.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:

Work in a factory environment, often requiring standing for extended periods.
May involve exposure to dust, noise, and woodworking equipment.
Adherence to PPE and safety guidelines is mandatory.
