Job Description

The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) is responsible for promoting and selling genuine spare parts for diesel generators across key industries, including rental power, construction, oil & gas, defence (US Army), and international organizations (United Nations).
This role requires a strong understanding of FG Wilson, Perkins, and other leading generator brands to ensure customers receive top-tier support and aftermarket solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key clients in the rental, construction, oil & gas, and defence sectors. Promote genuine FG Wilson and Perkins spare parts to maximize sales and enhance equipment reliability. Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new revenue opportunities in aftermarket services.

Customer Relationship Management:

Establish long-term partnerships with clients Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend optimized parts stocking plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and offering tailored solutions.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations to identify new business opportunities. Provide regular sales performance reports, customer feedback insights, and market analysis. Recommend improvements in sales strategies and inventory planning based on market demands.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, , or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product support sales within the diesel generator industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FG Wilson and Perkins diesel generators (sales, parts, and service). Proven track record in selling spare parts, with experience in engine repowering considered an added advantage. Experience working with rental power, construction, oil & gas, defence (US Army), and international organizations (UN). UAE market experience preferred; a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
