We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing products from China. Experience with Amazon marketplace operations and knowledge of its requirements is highly preferred. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Supplier Identification:** Research and identify potential suppliers in China capable of producing high-quality products suitable for private labeling. 2. **Negotiation:** Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive rates and favorable terms for our company. 3. **Product Quality Control:** Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all sourced products meet our company\'s standards and specifications. 4. **Amazon Marketplace Compliance:** Ensure all products sourced comply with Amazon\'s guidelines and requirements, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. 5. **Timely Delivery:** Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery schedules are met to fulfill customer demand and optimize inventory management. 6. **Supplier Relationship Management:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and streamline communication channels. 7. **Market Research:** Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential product improvements. 8. **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, including contracts, pricing, and supplier performance metrics. Generate regular reports to track sourcing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. **Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor\'s degree 2. Proven experience in product sourcing from China, preferably in the context of private labeling. 3. Familiarity with Amazon marketplace operations, including seller requirements and best practices. 4. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes in supplier contracts and pricing. 5. Excellent project management abilities, including multitasking and prioritization skills to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously. 6. Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards to ensure products meet customer expectations. 7. Strong analytical skills to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify sourcing opportunities. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders. 9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with sourcing software or platforms is a plus. **Preferred Experience:** - Previous experience in sourcing consumer goods, preferably in e-commerce or retail industries. - Knowledge of import/export regulations, logistics, and international trade practices. - Experience with product development and customization for private label brands. - Certification or training in supply chain management or procurement processes. **Note:** This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the role and is not exhaustive.
