Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toService Marketing & Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesAs an Electrification Service Product Marketing Specialist at ABB, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote ABB\'s electrification service products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical products and services, market dynamics, and customer needs within the electrification sector. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying customer needs and position Digital Portfolio solutions which add value to the customer assets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understands the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly update installed base in ServIS (the approved Service database) with the changes made at site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Generate opportunities and leads to meet the assigned sales targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilizes IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market and promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB. \xe2\x80\xa2 Focuses on the entire Service portfolio to secure profit for assigned Business/Product Groups. \xe2\x80\xa2 Own and implement electrification service (ELSE) sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth in orders and profitability (Future projections). \xe2\x80\xa2 Account and segment focus approach to position advanced services, replacements, retrofits & upgrades, installation and commissioning, service workshop offerings, spare parts, SLAs (Service level agreements), energy efficiency, digital solutions, customer training, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that all related activities meet legal and ethical compliance requirements are in accordance with overall company policies & procedures are conducted with employee safety as a priority and are aligned with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Generates Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.Qualifications for the role
  • Marketing & Electrical Engineering Background.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing within UAE.
  • Proven track record as an application engineer for switchgears and protection relays.
  • Background in digital solutions is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong technical expertise in selling service agreements.
  • Strong English communication & Negotiation skills are a must
  • Innovative mind and interest to explore new ideas and build strong relationships \xe2\x80\x93 excellent networking skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and exceptional problem-solving techniques
