The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service.We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.In this role, your key responsibilities include
Formulate product strategies to grow market share and enhance profitability of existing products and conceptualize, propose and implement new product propositions and strategic marketing alliances to ensure high visibility and competitive advantage to grow customer share and overall profitability.
Monitor and control the product mix, portfolio composition, usage patterns and behavior, cost of funds and yields in accordance with business objectives and ensure all activities are in compliance with legal, regulatory, associations and Bank guidelines.
Monitor and control the advertising and promotion funds allocated to product programmes to ensure alignment to the allocated budgets.
Contribute constructively and creatively in the planning, development and implementation stages of all acquisition programmes to drive maximum product sales and awareness of the product. Monitor and analyse performance of all acquisition programmes to ensure results are on track and if not, to identify the problems/issues and recommend solutions to rectify them.
Work closely with external partners, vendors, and other internal departments to achieve business objectives, conducting meetings and ensuring agreed reports submitted in a timely manner with partners.
Contribute to the preparation of the business areas budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Manage self and team in line with ADCBs people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.
Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation.
Identify opportunities to contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
SkillsThe ideal candidate should have the following experience
At least 5 years of experience in Banking/financial institution; with minimum 2 years of experience in product or portfolio management (preferably for commercial or SME clients).
Masters / Postgraduate in Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics
Knowledge / experience in managing digital / IT implementation projects
