Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager to lead the development and management of products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of manufacturing processes, product engineering, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs, technical teams, and manufacturing operations.

As a Product Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of products from concept to market, ensuring they meet customer requirements, technical standards, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical products within the manufacturing industry.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment with market needs, technological advancements, and business goals.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, manufacturing capabilities, and industry trends to drive product innovation and differentiation

Product Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of products from ideation, design, and engineering through to manufacturing, distribution, and post-launch.
• Ensure products meet both technical specifications and customer requirements, focusing on quality, performance, and manufacturability.
• Manage product improvements and updates based on feedback, technological advancements, and industry changes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications, manufacturing processes, and ensure the efficient production of products.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials, production schedules, and inventory management.
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to create product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement tools for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Market & Customer Insights:

• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to understand market demands, industry trends, and product opportunities.
• Engage directly with customers, distributors, and industry experts to gather feedback, understand pain points, and prioritize product features.
• Analyze and monitor product performance and customer satisfaction to ensure products meet market expectations.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure products comply with industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to manufacturing and technical products.
• Work with quality assurance and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality production processes and standards are maintained.
• Address and resolve any technical or manufacturing issues that arise during production or post-launch.

Product Launch & Marketing:

• Lead product launches by working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
• Develop technical product documentation, training materials, and presentations for internal teams and customers.
• Create and maintain product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies to effectively communicate the value of the product in the market.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Use data to measure product performance, customer adoption, and financial performance, ensuring products meet business goals and KPIs.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for senior leadership on product development status, market performance, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities for both product and manufacturing processes based on feedback and data.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, Business, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced technical degree preferred).
• 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally within the manufacturing, technical, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, engineering principles, and quality control.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and certifications relevant to the manufacturing sector.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on detail and timelines.
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Productboard) and agile methodologies.
• Strong project management skills, with an understanding of both traditional and agile product development frameworks.

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, IoT, additive manufacturing).
• Knowledge of the supply chain, sourcing, and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
• Experience in managing both B2B and B2C technical products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED9,000.00 per month
