Position Title: Product Manager - Data Center/Server
Position Overview:
As a Product Manager for Data Center and Server solutions, you will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, vendor relationships, and profitability of our data center and server product lines. You will leverage your extensive experience within the GCC/MENA regions and your expertise with manufacturers like Gigabyte, AIC, Tyan, and Supermicro. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic product plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue and profitability targets. We aim to find candidates from top companies such as Asbis, Ingram, Mindware, and Logicom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic product plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and engage key accounts within the data center and server market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring optimal product performance and market relevance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Monitor and report on product performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote company products and services.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and agreements with manufacturers like Gigabyte, AIC, Tyan, and Supermicro.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the product line's P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maintained.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management within the GCC/MENA regions, preferably in the data center and server solutions sector.
• Proven experience working with manufacturers like Gigabyte, AIC, Tyan, and Supermicro.
• Strong understanding of the electronics distribution industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client and vendor relationships.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
