Job Description

:The GeoZone Product Line Manager is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the product line within the designated GeoZone. This role is instrumental in strategizing and implementing localized plans aligned with global strategies, ensuring product line successes in market penetration, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and revenue targets. The GeoZone Product Line Manager acts as a bridge, ensuring seamless alignment between GeoZone priorities and global product line objectives.Roles & ResponsibilitiesSAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company\'s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company\'s Rules to Live By

  • Operational Excellence:
\xe2\x88\x92 Oversee the operational aspects of the product line in the GeoZone, ensuring delivery efficiency, quality, and compliance.
\xe2\x88\x92 Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure product availability and prompt service delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement:
\xe2\x88\x92 Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the product line, aiming for operational efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Compliance & Ethics:
\xe2\x88\x92 Ensure all activities within the product line comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Technical Leadership:
\xe2\x88\x92 Provide strategic direction for the Application Engineering Team, ensuring that engineering solutions align with the GeoZone market requirements and global product line strategies.
\xe2\x88\x92 Stay updated with the latest technical advancements in the industry to ensure the team\'s work remains at the forefront.
  • Project Oversight:
\xe2\x88\x92 Oversee key engineering projects, ensuring they are executed in line with technical, time, and budgetary constraints.
\xe2\x88\x92 Collaborate with sales and operations to prioritize application engineering projects based on market demands.
  • Customer Technical Support:
\xe2\x88\x92 Ensure that the Application Engineering Team provides robust technical support to customers, addressing complex queries and challenges.
\xe2\x88\x92 Engage in high-level technical discussions with key customers, offering solutions and enhancing product applicability.
  • Collaboration with Global Product Engineering:
\xe2\x88\x92 Work closely with the global product engineering team to ensure GeoZone-specific requirements are addressed in the product designs and modifications.
\xe2\x88\x92 Share insights from the GeoZone market to aid in the global product development process.
  • Resource Allocation:
\xe2\x88\x92 Ensure optimal allocation of engineering resources across various projects based on priority, complexity, and deadlines.
\xe2\x88\x92 Collaborate with HR for recruitment or contractual hiring for specific technical skill sets as needed.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management:
\xe2\x88\x92 Ensure that the team maintains comprehensive documentation for all engineering solutions, applications, and client-specific configurations.

  • Feedback Mechanism:
\xe2\x88\x92 Establish a structured feedback mechanism where the Application Engineering Team can share insights, challenges, and suggestions from their projects, aiding in product refinement.
