Job Title: Product Development (Beverage and Flavours Specialist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Product Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of flavor chemistry, sensory science, and a passion for crafting exceptional flavors for beverages, with a strong focus on coffee and related products. This role involves developing new, innovative flavor profiles, ensuring quality consistency, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring premium, memorable beverage experiences to market.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Development & Innovation:

Create and develop unique, marketable flavor profiles for beverages, with a particular focus on coffee, teas, and specialty drinks.

Experiment with various flavor components and raw materials, ensuring high-quality taste, aroma, and texture.

Innovate and refine recipes to enhance flavor quality and appeal to target consumer preferences.

Product Formulation & Testing:

Formulate beverage products by balancing ingredients to achieve the desired flavor profile and sensory experience.

Conduct sensory evaluations, stability, and shelf-life testing to ensure product quality and consistency.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure scalable, reproducible formulations.

Quality Control & Assurance:

Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.

Develop flavor-related specifications, testing protocols, and documentation for new and existing products.

Identify and troubleshoot any flavor or formulation issues to maintain product integrity.

Research & Trend Analysis:

Stay current on industry trends, new ingredients, and flavor technologies to incorporate innovative ideas.

Engage in ongoing sensory analysis and market research to anticipate and adapt to consumer trends.

Provide insights on the competitive landscape and help drive strategy for flavor offerings.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:

Work closely with Marketing, Production, and quality control teams to align product development with business goals.

Communicate and present findings, flavor concepts, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Participate in training and support for team members to improve sensory analysis skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a flavorist or flavor chemist, with a focus on beverage and coffee products.

Strong knowledge of food and beverage flavor chemistry, sensory science, and ingredient functionality.

Experience in both natural and artificial flavor development.

Proven sensory evaluation skills and familiarity with sensory testing methods.

Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, food safety standards, and labeling requirements.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
