We are looking for Procurement Specialist who can join us immediately with experience with Building Material Supply (Sanitary Ware and Tiles)
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies tailored to the needs of the sanitary wares and building materials sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, innovations, and potential suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish strong and reliable vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accurate order processing.
- Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and forecast future demand.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement cost-control measures and negotiate better terms with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
