We are looking for Procurement Specialist who can join us immediately with experience with Building Material Supply (Sanitary Ware and Tiles)
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies tailored to the needs of the sanitary wares and building materials sectors.
Conduct market research to identify trends, innovations, and potential suppliers.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish strong and reliable vendor relationships.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accurate order processing.
Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and forecast future demand.
Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Implement cost-control measures and negotiate better terms with suppliers.
Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics and supplier performance.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the sanitary wares or building materials industry. - Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and inventory control. - Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
