Technical Procurement Specialist (Ship Chandelling)

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team.

In this critical role, you will:

• Manage the procurement process for a wide range of technical supplies and equipment used in ship operations.
• Source, negotiate, and secure the best possible pricing and terms from vendors.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Utilize technical expertise to evaluate product suitability and ensure quality standards.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through effective procurement strategies.
• Mentor and train new team members on procurement processes and best practices.

To be successful, you will possess:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in technical procurement within the shipping industry.
• Strong understanding of technical ship supplies and equipment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience in training and development.
